No heat in winter, no cool in a heat wave, busted lines. We answer the phone day or night, weekends included.
You have probably seen the cheap tune-up offers other companies run. A lot of those are just a way to get a salesperson in your door to push repairs you may not need. That is not how we work. When Justin or Colby comes out for a tune-up, you get an honest inspection from the owner of the company, not a commissioned tech with a quota.
We do the full job, tell you the real condition of your system, and only flag something if it actually needs attention. If your AC is in good shape, we will tell you that and be on our way.
Justin VanCassele and Colby Baker run AmeriHeat together. Colby is a veteran. Both owners are on jobs every week across Rochester and Monroe, Wayne and Ontario Counties.
Give them a call. They actually pick up.
A proper tune-up is more than a quick look. Here is what we actually do when we service your system in Webster.
If your home has solid existing ductwork, a central air system is usually the most straightforward replacement. We install Heil, with Rheem as a higher end option when you want top efficiency.
If you have an addition, a finished basement, a sunroom, or rooms that never cooled well with the main system, a ductless mini split is often the better answer. This comes up a lot in Webster's older homes. We install Gree for ductless setups.
A heat pump cools your home in summer and heats it in winter from one system. New York runs rebate programs for qualifying heat pump installs, which can take a real chunk off the cost. We walk you through what your home may qualify for.
Webster sits right along Lake Ontario, so the summer air carries a lot of humidity. Your AC works harder here because it is pulling moisture out of the air on top of cooling it. That extra workload means coils get dirty faster, condensate drains clog more often, and parts wear quicker than they would inland. A yearly tune-up keeps ahead of all that.
The tree cover around a lot of Webster homes adds to it. Leaves, pollen, and seeds settle on outdoor units and choke off airflow. Clearing and cleaning that as part of regular maintenance keeps your system breathing and running efficiently.
For most homes, once a year is right, ideally in spring before the cooling season starts. That way any small issues get caught before the heat hits and you are not waiting on a repair during a heat wave. If you have a heat pump that runs year round, we recommend servicing it twice a year, once before summer and once before winter.
Qualifying heat pump systems in particular can carry real incentives that take a chunk off the cost through NYSERDA's Clean Heat program. The programs have specific requirements and they change, so when we come out we will walk you through what your home may qualify for. No hype, just the honest picture so you can factor it into your decision.
We keep it simple. We do a thorough tune-up, give you the honest condition of your system, and tell you the cost of anything before we touch it. If everything checks out, we say so. We would rather keep you as a customer for years than push you into work you do not need today.
