No heat in winter, no cool in a heat wave, busted lines. We answer the phone day or night, weekends included.
AmeriHeat is not a franchise. We are a Rochester NY based, truck-based, owner operated HVAC company. Justin or Colby answers the phone. No call centers, no rotating techs, no salesmen booking your service call.
Most AC installation calls start with a system past 15 years old, a failed compressor or condenser, or an R-22 refrigerant system that cannot be economically repaired. We give you the cost to install a properly sized replacement, explain which efficiency makes sense for your situation, and schedule the work. Most standard central AC replacements complete in one day.
We service every system type. Gas furnaces, oil furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, central AC, and ductless mini splits. You get the price before any work begins. No surprises. No upsells in the driveway.
Justin VanCassele and Colby Baker run AmeriHeat together. Colby is a veteran. Both owners are on jobs every week across Rochester and Monroe, Wayne and Ontario Counties.

Most AC replacement decisions come down to age and what failed. Repair makes sense when the system is under 12 years old and the repair cost is well below half the cost of replacement. Replacement makes sense in these situations:
A standard central AC replacement in a Rochester home typically completes in one day. The process:
SEER is the efficiency rating for air conditioners. Higher SEER means more efficiency but also higher upfront cost. Rochester has a shorter cooling season than most US cities (May through September, roughly 5 months). The payback period on a higher SEER unit is longer in Rochester than in a city like Atlanta that runs AC 9 or 10 months a year.
For most Rochester homes, the difference between 14 SEER and 16 SEER pays back over many years of operation. If you are replacing a 10 SEER unit from the early 2000s, going to 14 SEER is already a major efficiency jump. We discuss the specific payback for your usage at the free estimate and give you realistic numbers for Rochester's climate. We do not default to the highest SEER unit just because the margin is better.
