Same day service when available, next day at the latest. For real emergencies, no heat in February or no cool in July, 24/7 service is on the table.
We service every system type. Gas furnaces, oil furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, central AC, ductless mini splits, and whole home humidifiers. You get the price before any work begins. No surprises. No upsells in the driveway.

95% of our HVAC work happens within this radius. Brighton is part of our regular weekly route through Monroe County, NY.
Brighton, NY is a town in Monroe County bordering the city of Rochester directly to the southeast, with a population of about 37,137. Known as one of Rochester's premier suburbs, Brighton has a wide mix of housing from 1920s tract neighborhoods like Houston Barnard, Homeacres, and Roselawn to mid-century homes around Twelve Corners to modern builds along Allen's Creek and Meadowbrook. The HVAC work changes from one block to the next.
The older Brighton housing stock, especially the 1920s and 1930s homes around East Avenue, Monroe Avenue, and the Houston Barnard tract, often runs on older boilers, fuel oil furnaces, or first-generation forced air systems that are now well past their prime. Most Rochester HVAC companies have stopped servicing fuel oil. We did not. We handle oil furnace repair, oil tank work, and full oil-to-gas conversions on these older Brighton homes.
Newer Brighton builds and the homes around Twelve Corners, Allen's Creek, Meadowbrook, and the Buckland Park area typically run on natural gas with forced air, central AC, and increasingly heat pumps. Brighton homeowners working at the University of Rochester or Strong Memorial Hospital nearby want HVAC work that gets done right the first time without disruption.
Heating Brighton NY homes is the bulk of what comes in from this part of Monroe County, especially November through March. Furnace repair Brighton homeowners call us for runs heaviest in deep winter when an aging furnace finally gives out on the coldest night of the year. We carry the most common furnace parts on the truck so a lot of Brighton heating repair calls finish in one visit.
For full furnace replacement we are an authorized Heil dealer. For boilers in the older Brighton homes we service hot water, steam, gas, and oil systems. For heat pump installs in newer Brighton builds we work with all major brands. For the full furnace repair detail page see our furnace repair page.
For comprehensive heating coverage, AmeriHeat handles the full range of heating equipment found across Brighton. Whether your home is on a 1920s steam boiler or a 2020 high-efficiency furnace, we can service it.
Cooling work in Brighton picks up fast in July and August. AC repair Brighton homeowners need most often is on central AC systems that aging out, low on refrigerant, or with failed capacitors. We diagnose, quote, and fix in one visit when the parts are on the truck. For older Brighton homes without central ductwork, ductless Gree mini splits are usually the right call. For the full AC repair detail page see our AC repair Rochester NY page.
10 to 30 minute response. Same day service when available. 24/7 for emergencies.
Annual HVAC tune-up Brighton homeowners schedule before each season saves a lot of repair calls in February and August. Furnace tune-ups in fall, AC tune-ups in spring. The visit covers burner cleaning, control checks, refrigerant level check on AC systems, capacitor test, electrical inspection, condensate drain flush, and thermostat calibration. For full maintenance plan options see our maintenance plans page.
We are an authorized Heil dealer. For ductless we install Gree. For higher-end builds we install Rheem. For fuel oil systems we install Thermo-Pride. For whole home humidifiers we install Aprilaire and Honeywell. We service and maintain Carrier, Trane, Goodman, York, American Standard, Bryant, Burnham, Weil-McLain, and most other brands found in Brighton homes.
From Twelve Corners and the Brighton High School area down to Allen's Creek and Meadowbrook, west to South Winton and Westfall, and out to Houston Barnard, Browncroft, and the Buckland Park neighborhood. Brighton is small geographically (about 15.6 square miles) so wherever you are in town, we are usually a short drive from a job in Pittsford or the city.
