No heat in winter, no cool in a heat wave, busted lines. We answer the phone day or night, weekends included.
AmeriHeat is not a franchise. We are a truck-based, owner-operated HVAC company. Justin or Colby answers the phone. No call centers, no rotating techs.
Canandaigua is in our core service zone. We mostly respond within 10 to 30 minutes when you call. Same day service when available, next day at the latest. For real emergencies, no heat in February or no cool in July, 24/7 service is on the table.
We service every system type. Gas furnaces, oil furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, central AC, ductless mini splits, and whole home humidifiers. You get the price before any work begins. No surprises. No upsells in the driveway.
Justin VanCassele and Colby Baker run AmeriHeat together. Colby is a veteran. Both owners are on jobs every week across Rochester and Monroe, Wayne and Ontario Counties.
Give them a call. They actually pick up.
95% of our HVAC work happens within this radius. Canandaigua is part of our regular route through Ontario County.
Canandaigua has a real mix of housing. Older lakefront places off South Main, historic homes near the village, newer subdivisions toward Cheshire and along the Routes 5 and 20 corridor. The HVAC work changes from one address to the next.
The older village stock around South Main and the historic district often runs on fuel oil or older boilers. Most Rochester area HVAC companies have stopped servicing fuel oil. We did not. AmeriHeat works on oil furnaces, oil tank issues, and full oil-to-gas conversions when a gas line is available.
Newer builds toward Cheshire and along Routes 5 and 20 use forced air gas furnaces, central AC, and increasingly heat pumps. We install and service all of it. Lake effect off Canandaigua Lake also drives summer humidity higher than further west, which is why whole home humidifiers and dehumidifiers are common Canandaigua installs.
From simple repairs to full system replacements, here is what AmeriHeat handles for Canandaigua homes. Most calls fall into one of these categories.
Rochester area winters drop indoor humidity well below comfortable levels, especially in older Canandaigua homes with leaky building envelopes. We install Aprilaire and Honeywell whole home humidifiers, which mount onto the existing forced air system and add controlled moisture to the air. Helps with dry skin, static, cracked woodwork, and respiratory issues. Most installs finish in a single morning.
Free written estimate before any work begins. No pressure, no driveway upsells.
AC installation and AC repair calls pick up fast in July and August. If your central air conditioning is not cooling, leaking, or running constantly without dropping the temperature, we can usually diagnose and fix in one visit. Central air conditioning maintenance is the cheapest insurance against an emergency call in the middle of a heat wave. We check refrigerant levels, clean the coil, test capacitors, flush the condensate line, and verify airflow.
For homes without central ductwork we install Gree ductless mini splits, which cool one zone or the whole house without tearing into walls. Common for older Canandaigua homes that never had central AC.
For older Canandaigua homes still running a boiler, annual boiler maintenance is the difference between a 25 year system and a 12 year system. We clean the burner, check the controls, flush the system if needed, and test for carbon monoxide. We service hot water boilers and steam boilers across Canandaigua and the surrounding villages. If your boiler is past its useful life we can quote a replacement or oil-to-gas conversion.
If your furnace dies on a January morning, you need a company that picks up the phone. We do 24/7 emergency heating repair in Canandaigua for true no heat situations. Same applies to summer when AC quits during a heat wave. We do not run a call center. You get an owner on the line.
AmeriHeat is an authorized Heil dealer. For ductless equipment we install Gree. For homeowners who want a higher-end build, we install Rheem. For fuel oil we install Thermo-Pride, which runs cleaner than older oil burners. For whole home humidifiers we install Aprilaire and Honeywell. We service and maintain all major HVAC brands, not just the ones we install.
Around Canandaigua we serve Cheshire, Bristol, Chapin, Bloomfield, Manchester, Farmington, Victor, and the surrounding villages. Whether your home is on the lakefront, in the historic village center, or in a newer subdivision out toward Cheshire, we can quote and complete the work.
