No heat in winter, no cool in a heat wave, busted lines. We answer the phone day or night, weekends included.
AmeriHeat is not a franchise. We are a truck-based, owner-operated HVAC company. Justin or Colby answers the phone. No call centers, no rotating techs.
Fairport is in our core service zone. We mostly respond within 10 to 30 minutes when you call. Same day service when available, next day at the latest. For real emergencies, no heat in February or no cool in July, 24/7 service is on the table.
We service every system type. Gas furnaces, oil furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, central AC, ductless mini splits, and whole home humidifiers. You get the price before any work begins. No surprises. No upsells in the driveway.
Justin VanCassele and Colby Baker run AmeriHeat together. Colby is a veteran. Both owners are on jobs every week across Rochester and Monroe, Wayne and Ontario Counties.
Give them a call. They actually pick up.
95% of our HVAC work happens within this radius. Fairport is in the inside zone, and we mostly respond same day.
Fairport is a historic Erie Canal village in Perinton, Monroe County. The housing mix runs from Victorian-era homes near the canal and village center to newer builds out along Route 31 and in the Perinton subdivisions. The HVAC work changes from one address to the next.
The canal district and historic village homes in Fairport are often Victorian-era builds with original boilers, older oil furnaces, or systems retrofitted from steam to forced air over the decades. Most Rochester area HVAC companies have stopped servicing fuel oil. We did not.
Newer builds in Perinton along Route 31 and the surrounding subdivisions run natural gas with forced air, central AC, and increasingly heat pumps. Whole home humidifier installation is one of our most common Fairport calls because Rochester area winters drop indoor humidity well below comfortable levels, and older Victorian building envelopes are particularly leaky.
From simple repairs to full system replacements, here is what AmeriHeat handles for Fairport homes. Most calls fall into one of these categories.
Oil-to-gas conversion is one of our most common Fairport jobs. A lot of the older village stock and canal district homes are still running fuel oil furnaces or oil boilers, often from the 1970s or 80s. Switching from oil to natural gas usually means three things: checking for an available gas line at the curb (most Fairport streets have one), removing the old oil tank, and installing a new high-efficiency gas furnace in its place. We handle the full job, including coordination with the gas utility for line work where needed.
The math on oil-to-gas conversion usually pays back within 5 to 8 years on fuel cost savings alone. Add in lower maintenance and no more oil tank corrosion worry and the case gets stronger. We give you a written estimate showing the install cost, expected efficiency gains, and what to expect during the changeover.
Free walkthrough and written quote. We check the gas line, the equipment, and the conversion path.
Furnace installation in Fairport NY is a regular call, especially in the older village stock running 1990s and early 2000s equipment. We size systems correctly so you do not pay for capacity you do not need. Free written estimate on every furnace replacement with the equipment, price, and timeline laid out before any work begins.
For furnace repair calls, we carry the most common parts on the truck so a lot of repairs finish in one visit. Common Fairport furnace issues include flame sensors, ignitors, blower motor capacitors, and clogged condensate lines on high efficiency units.
Winter air gets dry, and older village homes that leak more air tend to run drier still. Dry air makes a house feel colder than the thermostat says and is hard on wood floors and trim. We install whole home humidifiers on forced air systems, sized to the house and set with a humidity control so you do not get condensation on the windows. Ask about one when we are out for a furnace visit.
For Fairport homes still running a boiler, annual boiler maintenance is the difference between a 25 year system and a 12 year system. We clean the burner, check the controls, flush the system if needed, and test for carbon monoxide. We service hot water boilers and steam boilers across Fairport and the surrounding villages. If your boiler is past its useful life we can quote a replacement or full oil-to-gas conversion.
AC installation and AC repair calls pick up fast in July and August. If your central air conditioning is not cooling, leaking, or running constantly without dropping the temperature, we can usually diagnose and fix in one visit. Central air conditioning maintenance is the cheapest insurance against an emergency call in the middle of a heat wave. We check refrigerant levels, clean the coil, test capacitors, flush the condensate line, and verify airflow.
If your furnace dies on a January morning or your AC quits during a heat wave, you need a company that picks up the phone. We do 24/7 emergency heating repair in Fairport and emergency AC repair in Fairport for true no heat or no cool situations. We do not run a call center. You get an owner on the line.
AmeriHeat is an authorized Heil dealer. For ductless equipment we install Gree. For homeowners who want a higher-end build, we install Rheem. For fuel oil systems we install Thermo-Pride, which runs cleaner than older oil burners. For whole home humidifiers we install Aprilaire and Honeywell. We service and maintain all major HVAC brands, not just the ones we install.
Around Fairport we serve Pittsford, Penfield, East Rochester, Bushnell's Basin, Macedon, Webster, Victor, and the surrounding Perinton villages. Whether your home is in the historic canal district, off Route 31 toward Macedon, or in a newer Perinton subdivision, we can quote and complete the work.
