No heat in winter, no cool in a heat wave, busted lines. We answer the phone day or night, weekends included.
AmeriHeat is not a franchise. We are a Rochester NY based, truck-based, owner operated HVAC company. Justin or Colby answers the phone. No call centers, no rotating techs, no salesmen booking your service call.
Pittsford is in our core service zone. We mostly respond within 10 to 30 minutes when you call. Same day service when available, next day at the latest. For real emergencies, no heat in February or no cool in July, 24/7 service is on the table.
We service every system type. Gas furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, central AC, ductless mini splits, and whole home humidifiers. You get the price before any work begins. No surprises. No upsells in the driveway.
Justin VanCassele and Colby Baker run AmeriHeat together. Colby is a veteran. Both owners are on jobs every week across Rochester and Monroe, Wayne and Ontario Counties.
Give them a call. They actually pick up.
95% of our HVAC work happens within this radius. Pittsford is in the inside zone where we hit the 10 to 30 minute response window most calls.
Pittsford is a Monroe County suburb on the Erie Canal southeast of Rochester. The Town of Pittsford holds the Village of Pittsford, with neighborhoods spreading out from Schoen Place along the canal across to French Road, Pittsford-Mendon Road, and the Country Club area. The housing stock runs from older Victorian and Colonial in the village to mid-century ranches along Monroe Avenue out to newer subdivisions in French Village, Stonewood, and Locust Hill. The HVAC work changes from one address to the next.
Most Pittsford homes run on natural gas with forced air heating and central AC. The newer subdivisions out toward Mendon, Pittsford Plaza, and French Village are almost all gas forced air. The older Pittsford Village stock around Schoen Place and Main Street is a mix of gas forced air, hot water boilers, and steam boilers in the oldest buildings. We service all of it.
What we see most across Pittsford: aging 15 to 25 year old gas furnaces nearing replacement, older central AC systems on R-22 refrigerant (R-22 is no longer manufactured, which makes repairs expensive and pushes most homeowners to replace), and homeowners adding ductless mini splits to finished basements, additions, sunrooms, and detached garages where the existing duct system does not reach. Heat pump installs are growing fast in Pittsford as the older AC systems reach end of life and homeowners look at the dual-purpose option.
From simple repairs to full system replacements, here is what AmeriHeat handles for Pittsford homes. Most calls fall into one of these categories.
Heating service is a steady year-round call in Pittsford. We handle furnace repair, furnace installation, and furnace tune ups across the Town and Village. For a Pittsford home running a 15 to 25 year old gas furnace, we can usually quote a like-for-like replacement or a high-efficiency upgrade with a free written estimate. The price, equipment, and timeline are laid out before any work begins.
For homes still running a boiler (and there are plenty in the older Pittsford Village stock around Schoen Place and the canal corridor), annual boiler service is the difference between a 25 year system and a 12 year system. We clean the burner, check the controls, flush the system if needed, and test for carbon monoxide. We service hot water boilers and steam boilers across Pittsford.
For cooling work in Pittsford we service all brands of central AC and install Heil central air systems (we are a Heil authorized dealer), Rheem for higher end builds, and Gree ductless mini splits for additions, finished basements, sunrooms, and older Pittsford Village homes without central ductwork. Honest sizing, free written estimate, no copy-paste quotes.
For AC service calls (not cooling, leaking, short cycling, ice on the line set, or running constantly without dropping the temperature), we can usually diagnose and fix in one visit. Annual AC tune ups are the cheapest insurance against an emergency call in the middle of a Pittsford heat wave. We check refrigerant levels, clean the coil, test capacitors, flush the condensate line, and verify airflow.
Same day diagnostics when available. Free written quote on every install and replacement.
Heat pump installs are growing fast in Pittsford. As older central AC systems reach end of life, more Pittsford homeowners are looking at heat pumps to handle both heating and cooling on one system. We install both ducted heat pumps tied into existing forced air systems and ductless heat pump configurations for additions, in-law suites, and converted spaces. Honest sizing matters more than sales talk.
For indoor air quality, we install whole home humidifiers (Aprilaire and Honeywell), high-efficiency filtration, and iWave air purifiers tied into the existing duct system. Pittsford winters drop indoor humidity well below comfortable levels, so whole home humidifiers are a regular ask, especially for newer well-sealed homes that hold more dry air than older drafty ones.
AmeriHeat is an authorized Heil dealer. For ductless equipment we install Gree. For homeowners who want a higher-end build, we install Rheem. For whole home humidifiers we install Aprilaire and Honeywell. For indoor air quality we also work with iWave. We service and maintain all major HVAC brands, not just the ones we install new. That includes Carrier, Trane, Goodman, York, American Standard, Bryant, Burnham, and Weil-McLain on older Pittsford equipment.
Around Pittsford we serve Brighton, Fairport, Penfield, Mendon, Honeoye Falls, Victor, and the surrounding Monroe County towns. Whether your home is in the Village of Pittsford, on French Road, near Pittsford Plaza, off Mendon-Pittsford Road, on Monroe Avenue, in the Country Club area, in Bushnell's Basin, or in any of the newer subdivisions out toward Mendon, we can quote and complete the work.
